Father’s Day Bottle Neck Ties

I’ve been looking for ways on how I can greet my Papa on Father’s Day.

He loves drinking beer and I was trying to think of a way to fuse beer and greeting. hehe. I can create a beer label with a greeting just like what I did for my niece Iki’s first birthday but that would be unoriginal.

I remember making a cute bottle packaging before and thought that maybe I could do that for my Papa. But that, again, would be the “easy” way of doing things.

An hour or so later, instead of redesigning the bottle packaging I made months ago, I have designed the perfect way (by my definition: unique and something my Papa has not seen yet) of greeting him on Father’s Day!

You can use a regular beer bottle or like what I did, use Coke! :) You can download this for free by clicking the link below the next photo.

To use these, print the Bottle Neck Ties - Fathers Day file on a letter size vellum board of your choice, preferably with 200-220gsm paper weight. Cut out the neck ties and glue the end of each tie onto the mid-section of the tie. It is best if you use bottles with long necks. You can re-size each loop to fit your chosen bottle. Try to fit the tie first on the neck of the bottle and then glue together.

You can use this on your Father’s Day Party as an embellishment on your bottled drinks. Just make sure that you hand the bottled drinks to Dads only! :) Also, you can use these to embellish your Father’s Day gifts to all the Daddies you know.

I will be surprising my Papa with a bottle of fine beer (I have yet to find out which brand’s good) with a bottle neck tie wrapped on its neck on the morning of Father’s Day. Ssshhhh…. don’t tell him. :P

Have I told you that my Papa is the friendliest man I know?

He’s so amazingly friendly that he’s friends with the street sweeper, security guards, street kids, squatters, street vendors, next-door neighbors, 3-blocks-away neighbors, senior citizens in our local sports center, senior citizens in the mall, and even my previous office’s guard. And he’s not just acquainted with them. He knows their stories and he even knows their surnames! Who the heck remembers surnames?! LOL. He makes time for them and he makes heart-to-heart talks with these people. I am truly amazed at my Papa’s ability to make friends with any type of person — those living in big houses, medium-sized houses, small houses and shanties. :)

I just wanted to share a little bit about my dad. He just turned 60 last April and he’s still rockin’ it and drinks at least 4 or 5 bottles of beer each night. Alcoholic? Hmmm…. he looks pretty much sober to me. :)

Father’s day will be on June 20th. Celebrate your dad and the fact that he’s alive and healthy. I know we make smart comments about our dads being super annoying but give them that privilege since they’re already old. Love them every day and make sure they know that you do. I’ll make sure my Papa knows that I love him. :)

This is a little something for our special Daddies. You can download these free by clicking the download links below. Use these as decor for the big party you’re throwing for your dad or as tags for your gifts. Enjoy!

I’m off to my friend Jacqui’s house in a while. We’re having a sleepover. I am 26 years old and I am having a sleepover. LOL. I miss her. She’s my classmate from college.

Talk to you guys tomorrow! Oh, btw, I’ll tell you all about how natural alternative medication and good old meditation cured my tonsillitis when I get back tomorrow.
