Ahhh, there’s just so much to be thankful for! Last night I was trying to decide whether I’d do a full post about the things I’m truly thankful for (with lists and all) or if I would just like to say a simple thank you. Even one whole post full of lists and thank yous just wouldn’t cut it for me. There’s just too many things that I am grateful for.
So I have decided to just make a smaller, more condensed thank you list.
This year, I can’t say that everyday was all fun but I sure have been blessed very well that my heart just wells up with gladness. My life is filled with wonderful people who truly amaze me with their naturally kind and helpful nature.
Waking up today in a cheery and thankful mood, I try to savor the moment by writing this short post. I am truly, truly thankful for the life that I am living. The world can sometimes be harsh and unforgiving but I know that it is an essential part of life just like night is part of a day. You cannot call a day without a night. I am thankful for the life’s little challenges, hurdles and difficulties because they are my greatest teachers. Truly, experience is like no other mentor.
I am thankful for the people who have always surrounded me with love because through them I feel blessed and contented; and for the people who are not so friendly because through them I can practice my patience and love. They give me an opportunity to cultivate happiness and love everyday.
I am filled with gratitude for my soulmate, Mr. Snuggles, who is my best friend, my travel buddy, my personal life-coach and my home. He is my biggest excuse when I pig out and the chairman of my fans club if ever I get to have one.
I can go on and on and I would still end up with the same statement — Thank you.
My gratitude also extends over my kitties.
Believe it or not, there is wisdom in their sometimes lazy mood and playfulness.
Of course I can’t thank you enough for sticking around and reading my blog. Your words of encouragement and presence has, and always will be my inspiration.
My heart is filled with thankfulness for the God within me. Words cannot fully elaborate the gratitude I feel.
Do you feel the same way too? Like your heart swells up with love?
I hope so.
I wish you all a lovely Thanksgiving and a bountiful life
