I’ve never been away this long before. Mr. Snuggles and I are working on some new projects and I’ve been a bit busy with my little and newly-opened design business. I have recently put up advertisements of my digital design services online (not on this blog though hehe) and I’m so thankful that I’ve already got a handful of clients during my first week.
I am designing labels, websites and logos (shameless plug, please forgive me lol).
Truly, the Universe knows no limits.
Anyway, that was why I was not able to post anything creative lately. Unless you guys want to see what I’ve been working on.
That would be a bit boring though.
Today I’ll just be sharing the little makeover I did with my wooden bead necklace. Many of you, if not all I presume, are familiar with the steps on how to make this.
I found an old spool of striped dark blue ribbon in my “everything bin” and immediately imagined it wrapping a bead necklace. I also had a 3-year old bead necklace that was lying around so this little project is just perfect.
The color’s already faded so it’s definitely the right time for a make over.
Here’s how I made the necklace:
Before I end this post, I’d like to thank two wonderful bloggers who recently featured me.
A big thank you to Audra of Simpsonized Crafts and Helena of Life in the Pitts!
Happy beading!
