I find clear cello plastic attractive for packaging.
The fact that I can do almost anything to it — keeping it simple by placing my little gift inside and then tying it with a cute ribbon or putting Japanese tissue paper inside to add color, is so perfect for those last minute gifts.
Late last year Mr. Snuggles bought me 6 window markers and I am just so in love with them that whenever I see anything glossy, I would try to write on them with my pen. teehee. The pens are so awesome. The colors “burst” after a few seconds of application. Yeah, it’s that awesome. LOL!
Anyway, I just had to share how cute my hand drawn cello wrappers turned out and show you guys how to make them too.
I’ll be providing you guys with a free template as well so drawing will be a breeze.
Here’s how to make the hand drawn cello wrapper:
1. Download and print the free printable template.
Download FREEBIE: Feather Pattern
2. Place your cello plastic wrapper on top of the printed template. Tape it down with an awesome sticky tape such as the one I have. teehee.
3. Get your awesome window markers and start tracing the pattern!
4. Get some Japanese tissue paper and place it inside the cello wrapper. Use it as lining and as a cool background for your handiwork!
5. And then start wrapping your gifts and prepare to give them away!
(LOL at this step!)
Teehee. It looks simple and so pretty!
Mr. Snuggles and I handed out some to our friends last weekend who were celebrating their birthdays.
Okay, I need to go now. Mr. Snuggles and I are attending our monthly book club meeting and we still have some errands to do.
Catch y’all later!
p.s. I’m having a Big Birthday Blowout for my little ‘ol blog to celebrate its birthday (and mine too!!! teehee)! I’m giving away 22 awesome printables to 10 lucky readers! It will only be until February 1st so be sure to join!
