I finally got the chance to bring my cards and begin leaving traces of inspiration and love.
I carry a bunch of cards in my wallet just in case there’s a place I want to leave some love behind.
Mr. Snuggles and I went to Pangasinan over the weekend and left two cards on the windows of the buses we were riding. Have I told you that I love bus rides?
Anyway, we left a card on our way to Pangasinan.
And another when we spontaneously decided to head to Baguio. We were supposed to go back to Manila that afternoon but all the buses that stopped were either going somewhere else or it was jam-packed with people going home and there were no free seats anymore. Anyway, we decided we’ll catch the midnight bus to Manila from Baguio and literally just chill (because Baguio is the coldest place in the Philippines lol) out there.
This card was the perfect one to drop because of our situation. Instead of feeling grumpy about not being able to go home as planned, we simply chose to be happy by enjoying ourselves in Baguio. I wish everyone would do the same — choose the happier option. We always have choices.
Despite the almost unbearable cold (I know it’s not snow but for people who live in the tropics where the weather is mostly warm, it’s already winter lol) we went through because we didn’t bring jackets, we still stayed happy just by enjoying every moment of our mini, spontaneous vacation.
I love living a spontaneous life! How about you?

This is such a nice idea, Issa! I think I’ll follow in your footsteps and start leaving notes of my own.
I had a similar yet different idea before … I once dreamed of opening a coffee shop where I would make all my books available for people to read. I wanted it to become a place where people could converse and read and just be. It would be a hole in the wall kind of place, with no sign or name. I would just leave little notes here and there with this statement “We are dust. We are divine.” and the notes would just contain the address of the place. People who would resonate with the note would hopefully be drawn to check the place out… reading your post just brought me back to that dream. And though I don’t think I’ll be able to follow through with it (because I gave away almost all of my books last year) remembering the dream still makes me smile
Stay positive and continue spreading positive energy. I just feel that when we do this, the world is grateful and it smiles along with us

oh Tina what a lovely idea!!! I like how you want to use little note cards with the short empowering quote. The coffee shop is both mystical and creative. Why don’t you push through with this? There’s enough time to collect books.
We’ve always wanted to open a free library so we’re still gathering our books. The only idea we had was to build a library with an arts and crafts center inside where art materials can be used for free. Teehee. We still don’t know how to breathe life into it but we consider collecting books as early as now as our first step.
I just love your idea! Please, share it with the world.
Live your dream
