I used to collect rubber stamps when I was little. And although my collection was not very big because I have this tendency to hop from one hobby to another, I kept them with me until last year when I felt I wanted a new set of stamps. I wanted new stamps that had more personality. Stamps that had my personality.
My busy schedule last year kept me from making my own stamps but last night, as I was watching a DVD of a Koreanovela (*sigh* this koreanovela has kept me up for 2 nights in a row and it’s not a pretty sight for me) I carved my first eraser stamp.
I was looking for a rubber pad at a school supply store but I only found erasers. It sure worked well but the eraser’s quite small so I’ll be looking for a bigger canvass next time. For now, I share with you my thoughts of love and togetherness with my new lovebirds eraser stamp
I bought a new set of cutting tools for P88 only at the Japan store and got my eraser for P14. Super cheap.
To make your own Eraser Stamp, print or draw your design on a sheet of paper and transfer it to the eraser using carbon paper. The basic thing you have to remember is to take out ONLY the parts that you don’t want to appear on the image stamp.
Happy carving!
